We've been told "You have to eat at the Peppermill!" So we finally did. Seemed pretty legendary and who doesn't love diner food? During our 30min wait we hung out at the Fireside Lounge. Man that place is awesome - I felt like I was signed up for a lapdance w/all that fluorescent lighting, fake plants, plush seating and scantily clad waitresses. We were finally seated amongst all the hungover frat guys and huge families who took over the place. Our waitress was very nice but the overall service was sloooooow. Our food finally came and we devoured our bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, english muffin and hashbrowns. I was almost angry at how good it was and how it was going to end soon if I kept eating. We got out of the place after about 2hrs - an amount of time unheard of from us, again I'm blaming how busy the place was and slow service. Anyway, the Peppermill was a great place for taking your time, eating yummy diner food, people-watching and chilling - all without having to inhale cigarette smoke.
