It's alright. Night time is probably better than the day time. But the day time tickets are cheaper and it's significantly uncrowded during the day time. Process-wise, you purchase your tickets and have until XX time to use it (i.e. 5pm for a day time ticket or whatever time they tell you). You then get in line and follow the signs. When we went, there was no line whatsoever. We were in a pod with 4 other people. They take your picture before you board and provide you prints and digital versions of it afterwards for a high cost. There's a bar just before you board if you want to purchase drinks. Note: You can also bring drinks with you on board from any establishment so long as it's not glass. We opted to bring a large alcoholic slushie from Purple Zebra (also located on The LINQ). The pods don't stop when you board. They don't move quickly, so it's easy to board while they're moving, but it can throw you off balance a bit. Once in the pods, there are video monitors that display different things, including the height you are at and a welcome message with basic safety instruction and overview info. The rotation takes about 30 minutes and moves quite slowly. It was nice to do once. And we'll probably do it again when tourists are visiting. But I think the Stratosphere view is better. All in all, it was a bit underwhelming. Neat, but nothing spectacular or particularly cool.
