Shady Characters!
This place has a sign in front advertising $17.99 oil changes. I stopped in one afternoon and was told it would be an hour wait before they could get to me. I didn't have time to wait, so I left.
This morning I called them at 8:38 and asked if they had time to do an oil change. I was told that if I arrived in one hour, they could take care of me. I arrived before the appointed time and was told there'd be an hour wait. The man I talked to wanted me to leave the van, but there was no where for me to hang out nearby, so I told him I would stay.
I sat in a chair in the waiting room for nearly 15 minutes before the man came back out and asked me if I knew an oil change on my van would cost $30 instead of $17.99. I said I didn't know that, and he said yes, that's what they charge for oil changes on vans and trucks.
I thought it was weird that no one had mentioned the price difference the first time I went in and that he let me sit there for 15 minutes before he gave me this information. I think they were trying to get rid of me. As I was leaving, the same guy was driving a Denali into the garage.
I understand if they charge more for vans and trucks, but the sign should indicate that, and when I called the guy who answered the phone should have asked what I was driving. I think these guys are shady. Beware!
