I worked with Don Blake of Montrose Mazda for two days on negotiations for a 2014 CX-5.
We had worked out a lower cost than advertised if I financed with them. He even told me after I got my quote from the bank that "on the financing side we should have no problem with matching your rate or beating it".
Two hours later he informed me they could not sell me the car at the lower cost and could not beat the rate my bank quoted me. When I inquired as to why he would assure me of things he could not make happen, he blamed his managers.
Not a good experience at all. I won't go back.
