I frequently work with Telus SPARK through my not-for-profit endeavor "Apocalypse Wars" (shameless plug) - where I have had the excellent opportunity to work with the some of the staff - as well as go as a regular patron.
Telus SPARK has an variety of interesting permanent exhibits that are great for the kids and the kid in you. There's stop-motion animation, water exhibits and heaps of games to keep you and your family entertained until it's time for dinner. They have also been featuring a few traveling exhibits and, as far as I know, have opened the theater for star shows.
Telus SPARK also features an "adults only" night for us big kids that don't want to run over the little kids while we play with giant blocks or learn about bitumen while drinking wine.
I encourage any kid, young or old, to wander through a great facility and learn an interesting thing or two.
