My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at Monterey Bay Fish Grotto, as a lover of seafood, I was quite skeptical that a seafood restaurant in Pittsburgh would have fish that tasted like butter, without an overwhelming fishy flavor. However, I was glad to find out that I was quite wrong, and I was more than pleased with the food that arrived at my table. The fish was phenomenal and tasted very, very fresh. For dessert, we split the angel food grilled cheese sandwich which was so beautifully presented, and it tasted just as good as it sounds! Our reservations were at sunset so the view before, during, and after sunset were unlike any other in the city. It was such a fun spot to go to celebrate an anniversary or a special occasion! The only drawback with this restaurant is the price tag, but you won't find a better seafood restaurant with such an incredible view in Pittsburgh!
