We have been customers of the original Brennan's almost since we moved here over 30 years ago, so we were hoping to find the new Brennan's Cellars to offer the same type of merchandise, service and experience. We attended the grand opening today, which was moderately busy. They still offer samples but they were a bit smaller than past and hard to lance with a tooth pick, so we gave up on that. We most enjoyed the seafood vendor from Alaska who was sharing his products and knowledge, and they were excellent. Other vendors were cordial and had some nice products. One disappointment was the One Barrel Brewery table, a local company, which was basically like a bar crowd just standing there blocking the area, so no one else could get a sample. We went by a few times but the rep was to busy chatting with the few hangouts...we heard it was good product, but left not knowing. Overall, it has the same feel and ambience. We will visit another time to form our opinion on how we really like it, on a normal day.
