I can't believe this only has 4 reviews. This is my favorite bakery in Calgary. If you like flaky, buttery pastries, there is no other. The cheese sticks, the ham and swiss croissant, 3 cheese croissant are among my favorite choices there. I have never met anyone who does not like the cheese sticks. I stop in every other week for a treat. It's not really a sit in place so I usually grab my goodies to go. Also be sure to give your croissants a quick nuke to melt the cheese a bit. I got this really fancy chocolate cake there once which was excellent and I don't really like cake so that says a lot. They have a large selection of desserts like creme brulee, fancy creme puffs, fruit tarts, meringes etc. I prefer the savory stuff. My wife likes the sweets. The selection changes pretty frequently and depending on when you get there, the choices can be limited. But that's part of the fun, stopping by to see what they have. This is by far the best bakery to go to get your "fancy" snacks or if you want a heart attack and empty wallet. :)
