The Resturaunt was really good. I went there for a dinner date with my girlfriend to spoil her. Though she doesn't eat much, she does enjoy good food. The workers were very nice. We walked in after waiting in line for a good 2 minutes and we got seated almost instantly right outside on the deck, with a beautiful view of the highland park bridge, the river. And the marina. It was a perfect setting for a romantic date. The place does need some repairs and a face lift. The outside still has the old 70s look to it. And it cold need new siding and roofing and just another color to it like tan and red. Despite that, our waitress was extremely kind. We split an appetizer of provolone sticks. 5 sticks for $5. & Some odd cents. Maybe one or two more could have been added but they were delicious.
Our main courses came out within 25 minutes of ordering which is the good expected time. I ordered the Delmonico steak w/ a side of vegetables and 2 sides of fries.my girlfriend ordered the turkey club with a side of assorted fruit and home fries Which she enjoyed. The home fries looked different but good different.after we were done we didn't get dessert because the courses were HUGE for the entrees, but very tastey. Everything cooked to perfection. And the best part was. It wasn't too expensive. My bill came to be 44.03
