Management, please read all the constructive feedback in the other reviews here. Solid feedback to be found. I have experienced the same issues as other reviewers - nonexistent waiters/waitresses and just okay food.
The menu is overpriced for small town Cottage Grove but that's okay with me -I'd be willing to pay more for delicious food and great service; unfortunately, I have not found either to be consistently offered at 1855.
I have been to 1855 5-6 times and each time, the service is substandard. I, or others at my table, are left with empty drinks, are waiting for a bill, or waiting for a box. Key word, waiting. Simple equation for happy customers, every 5-7 minutes, check in on your paying customers!
I wonder if 1855, with they huge menu, is trying to be too many things. Please get better soon. You have amazing potential for some loyal Cottage Grove customers with money to spend.
On a positive note, I love the atmosphere, the live music, and their dessert menu. Oh, and the new Asian noodle dish is delish.
