BAIT AND SWITCH. BAIT AND SWITCH. BAIT AND SWITCH. Do not go near this place or even Advantage Car, who also owns EZ. The price online is unbelievably cheap compared to other rental cars and, unfortunately, I was stupid enough to book it.
Problem One: Their quoted $7.00/day "Midsize" car is actually an Economy Car at any other rental agency. Thus, you are forced to "upgrade" to a car you thought you were getting in the first place. Of course they give you an "80%" discount on an appropriately sized vehicle...and say it will now be $15.00/day. Well...you are angry but resigned until they print the Summary of Charges. Now, in addition to the $15.00/day for a larger car, you are also forced to pay the original $7.00/day charge, making it a total of $22.00/day.
We walked next door to ENTERPRISE and had a fantastic experience. Honest people, fair pricing, superb customer service.
