Heeeelllllllooooo Yelp Community! I am back, I am so back!!!! LOL. In case you couldn't tell, my very last Yelp review was on 5/12/14 (yikes) and since then I've sadly let my Yelp-ing fall by the wayside. I missed out on a shiny new 2015 Elite Badge (insert crying emoticon) but I am back in full force (insert flexing bicep emoticon).
And since I'm starting fresh in 2015, I might as well start with a place that I will forever love *sigh* The Conservatory & Botanical Garden, at the Bellagio, is beautiful year-round. So much time and effort are obviously spent into making each "theme" such an amazing exhibit of art. It's an inviting escape from the never ending barrage of noises from the casino.
My recent visit here was this past Christmas. My family and I met up with other relatives who were also in town for the holidays. The theme was clearly the holiday season with plenty of bright twinkling lights, decorated Christmas trees, a sea of poinsettias, and whimsical displays of Christmas-y characters.
This particular visit to the Conservatory & Botanical Garden was especially memorable: My boyfriend completely surprised....got down on one knee....and asked me to marry him!!! When I finally said 'yes' (I was completely stunned at how well he pulled it off) there was a round of applause from the random people that happened to be there.
Looking back on that memorable day, I could not have imagined any other perfect place for him to propose other than the Conservatory & Botanical Garden. It truly is a magical place ;)
