Let me just start off with- Their massage therapists are AMAZING. One of the best massages my boyfriend and I had together. I give them 5 stars. Sadly, I couldn't overlook a few important factors: 1. Their locker rooms need major updating. Everything in there is so old that it makes the experience a bit sad. 2. They need a better system for their package deal. The boyfriend and I bought a couples package that included him to get a scalp massage while I get a manicure (I'll get to the side by side pedicure next). Even the spa receptionist mistakenly commented that because the scalp massage is tied into the package deal, it would be done by an entirely different team- mainly the salon staff, which is totally different from spa (confusing, right?). Where as the scalp massage is usually done by a masseuse during a massage, in this package it would be done by one of the manicurists!!!! Their explanation is that because they wanted to keep us together, blah blah, as their salon is separate from their spa. My boyfriend complained that all the scalp massage turned out to be was a hair wash!!!! Barely any massaging done. The girl who did his scalp massage was also the girl who did our pedicures. Totally unacceptable. 3. Finally, the pedicures. For the price we paid and the fact that this is supposed to be a resort, you'd think they would invest in their salon!!! Absolutely NO massage chairs to be seen for their pedicures. Instead, they had a wooden bench- that's right- A BENCH that is elevated off the ground. They compensated with some pillows. It was one of the worse pedicures of my life because the whole experience was so CHEAP. I'd only come back for their massages. Please be aware of their spa packages!!! Make sure that any massages, whether it be scalp or shoulder add-ons be done by a proper masseuse, and not by a salon attendant for the sake of convenience.
