It does not matter what time of the day, Monta Ramen is usually packed with a long line of hungry ramen enthusiasts waiting outside the door... for their turns to get a taste the popular Miso, Kuro (Black Garlic Oil), Tonkotsu, Shoyu or combination Tonkotsu-Shoyu Ramen. With over 2500+ reviews and 4-stars rating, something gotta be good here! After waited for 30 minutes and finally got to try a variety of ramen... here's the verdict... well, all Tonkotsu, Spicy Tonkotsu and Kuro Black Garlic Oil Ramen turned out to be a bit too salty... although the quality of broth is considered somewhat standard... (NYC standards, of course) with creamy and thick broth... their Chashu is very thin and on the fatty side. Having used to getting lots of toppings as basics in NYC, you'll find that dried seaweed, seasoned egg and bamboo shoots are extras at Monta Ramen. Then again, this is Vegas Chinatown... and so, I say it's overall a good value ramen.
