It was a great day to sit outside and have lunch at Midwood Smokehouse. We began with the BBQ Queso with Pork. It was quite tasty and as we finished our app the food arrived promptly. I dined on the Brisket (they give you an option for lean, fatty, or mixed; I had the lean brisket with the Midwood BBQ sauce. The beef was fine and the sauce was a good compliment. The mac and cheese was A+ and worth every calorie. The plates come with hushpuppies, which were fried crisp. We didn't get dessert but it sure was tempting. The indoor atmosphere looked very appealing, the staff was present, and the food was tasty. It definitely worth the stop if you are in the Park Road Shopping Center and looking for some good ole Southern BBQ.
