It is hard not to love a diner like this. Toronto, once an industrial city to the core, used to be peppered with just this sort of spots. The hollowing out of the city core, followed by the rise of creative and financial workforce, has all about disappeared such greasy spoons from the map.
The food here is delicious and affordable, the service is friendly and welcoming, and most of all: the coffee is damn good. Daily special are listed on the wall.
Be sure to check out the poutine. It is damn delicious.
