My stay at this hotel was on the expensive side but I certainly did not think this was a luxurious experience. When I checked in they told me they only had double bed rooms even though I specifically requested a king sized bed. I walked into my room and noticed how stuffy and warm it was even though the ac was at 60 degrees. I had to change rooms and was moved to a lower tier room with no view and was located right next to the elevator so there were loud noises throughout the night. My bed was probably pretty old since there was a slump in the middle of it which made it uncomfortable to sleep in. This Westin was not as modern as I had expected it to be and I was pretty disappointed. The mini fridge was pretty useless since it didn't keep anything cold. All the channels on the TV had frost so I wasn't able to watch anything. Front desk staff was nice and friendly. I wouldn't stay here again though since I can get a better quality room for a much lower price in Charlotte. The location of the hotel is not even that convenient, unless you are in Charlotte for a convention.
