I get nervous walking into post offices these days.
Post office customer service in the Chicagoland area left a lot to be desired while living there for 4 years. So, so slow. There must be something in their union agreement about only being allowed to help 6 customers an hour. No urgency whatsoever.
Today, I ventured to the post office in Savoy. Despite living in Champaign this location is closest to our new home.
Walked in and there were only a couple of people in line. No biggy, as this gave me time to look at their greeting cards. They were helped as quickly as possible. Yay!
I was just there to check-in a package that I already had postage on, so my transaction was easy peasy.
Will most definitely be back; maybe just for greeting cards. They had a lot of fun ones.
