Honey Salt - lives up to the hype, or at least, in my opinion. : ) Ordered: NY Strip Steak with yogurt creamed spinach, "my wife's favorite salad", and the turkey meatball flatbread. What I would recommend: The NY Strip Steak and "my wife's favorite salad" I did quite a bit of research on this restaurant before going, so I would like to believe my expectations were very high. The restaurant is smaller than I imagined it to be, and a little nosier than I would have liked. The service was very attentive when refilling our drinks (never refilling too soon, nor too late). The energy is lively and fun. I really wanted to try the chicken sandwich, however, we went to dinner, so I settled on the turkey meatball flatbread and my guest got the NY Strip Steak (highly recommended). The steak was perfectly cooked and possibly one of the best $30.00 steaks I've ever tasted. I asked the waitress which salad she recommended so she responded, "my wife's favorite salad" The salad includes a duck confit, pomegranate, and a perfectly cooked poached egg. At first I was somewhat skeptical to order this salad, since I did not know how well the flavors were going to mix. But oohhhhh boy, I was glad the waitress recommended it. DELISH! The tables are somewhat close to each other (especially if you sit in the booths), but other than that it was comfortable. Now... One of my favorite parts to the restaurant was when our bill came to the table. Each waitress carries a guest book with them and presents it with the bill. Anything from love notes, small drawings, and thank you letters can be found in it. I think it's a pretty cute idea, personally. : ) If you have not been, Honey Salt is definitely worth going to. The bill for two came to about $75.00 for apps, entrees, and drinks. A breath of fresh air for Vegas, and for that - I'll be back.
