I'm a Caribou fan through-and-through and although I'm sad that they converted Caribous to Peet's outside of Minnesota, Peet's is still a darn bit better than Starbucks and the other chain alternatives. While I prefer Pour, Erie, or Rising Star, it's tough to brave the elements this time of the year and I thank my lucky stars there's a Peet's inside Terminal Tower. The baristas are friendly, the coffee's hot, and there's never that watered down burnt taste I always experience with Starbucks. Their hours are pretty convenient (looking at you Dunkin) except on Sundays, when they open at 10am. My only criticism is they charge $.75 an expresso shot, when I get can 2 for $.50 at Dunn Bros or elsewhere. Other than that, a great addition to the morning routine.
