I came in for a regular (non-gel) mani pedi - I put in a decent amount of effort to let the polish dry since the salon didn't have UV or any kind of special coat to help. I even walked home in the pedi flip flops and walked around barefoot at home for at least an hour before trying to put on shoes. Right away, the edges of my big and pinky toe got smeared from putting on my shoes. ~2 hrs after getting the manicure I tried to put on jeans and all the polish was completely destroyed. I'm not saying I should be able to garden right after the service but I should be able to put shoes on after an hour or two. When I went to talk to staff, they said they couldn't offer me a refund or a gel service for better wear, but could only repaint my nails with the same polish that wouldn't dry in the first place. I don't think this is right. I would rather paint my own nails. And regardless, I got a lot of peeling skin around my cuticles. Never again. This is the type of thing I go to as self care to relax so when I spend like 5 hours of my life in pay to have more trouble things are no bueno.
