We had such a nice time talking with the two girls working behind the counter. We were the only ones in there at the time, I wish I would have gotten their names. One of the girls answered my question about the board with names on it. The names represent people that have something coming to them that someone has paid for in advance, sort of like a pay-it-forward list. She also let me sample about 4 things before I made up my mind on pistachio. There was a free one topping to go along with it and I wanted Reese's pieces and mentioned they don't really go with pistachio so I'll take them off once she puts them on. She nicely offered to put them in a little container so I could have them as a "side-dish". That was thoughtful and thinking outside of the box. We chatted about some other things and she seemed like she was genuinely engaged in our conversation. My husband got his all time favorite, Jamoca Almond Fudge! He didn't opt for the free topping. The serving sizes are just right, the service was excellent and friendly, and the ice cream was, of course, perfect for a 105 degree evening in Phoenix. I hope you go and have just as pleasant of a time as we did.
