I'm 64 years old, asked a staff member for assistance, she escorted me to customer service to take my backpack off and have it stored. Didn't see any signs or staff, on entering the store, to inform me of any such policy. I have no problem with cashiers inspecting my pack, when I exit the store, but this staff members behavior was ludicrous. Saw ladies shopping, carrying massive purses with open tops, but they were not subjected to the treatment, I was subjected to.
Recently relocated to Airdrie, but this is my final visit to the Canadian tire store.
I don't need this store, plenty of viable options in Airdrie, where customers are not treated like criminals. I will never return!
