I can recommend A1 without exception based on the two repairs they have done for me. First, they quickly and economically restored my carpet cleaner's functionality; second and, most recently, they repaired my Dyson vacuum. I arrived on a Saturday at 2pm in the afternoon; they close at 3. Tim, the company's repair man on duty evaluated the problem and asked if I had a few minutes. Getting it repaired on the spot was such a treat! Tim carefully took the vacuum apart and discovered the problem - a plastic cap lodged in the rigid plastic hose. He removed it and explained why the vacuum shut down and wouldn't operate. For safety purposes, Dyson has installed a heat monitor to alleviate periods of overheating and fire hazard. Tim thoroughly cleaned out the baffles in the filters, reassembled the vacuum and made sure it was fully operational. The price -- a modest $15.00. Tim was friendly, courteous and highly skilled.
