Although it has all the qualities of a good dive bar, The Old Nick is also a great place for weekend brunch!
The staff are nice, the prices are average for the Danforth and the portions, my friends, are friggin' HUGE. Too huge for any mortal to consume in one meal.
I had a chorizo and mushroom omelette that could easily have fed a standing army, with potatoes and salad on the side. Since I'm a sucker for Tiki ads when choosing a beverage, I rounded out the meal with an Hawaiian pale ale, heavy on the pale.
Basically, go hungry.
