This is the nicest park I've been to in the Mecklenburg County area. There is a lake in the middle of the park!? There are also umbrellas and benches for you to sit right by the lake. This place is perfect to bring your dogs and kids.
There are also multiple playgrounds, and very clean public bathroom(for park standards).
Ample spaces for parking. I would definitely come here way more often if it was closer to Charlotte. Oh, Birkdale Village is nearby so after the park, drive over for a nice lunch!
