I hate to write this. I think Hob Nobs is a quirky little place with good food. And I like supporting local businesses. Every Saturday I stop in for a large coffee to go. And occasionally I enjoy their omelet bar which is fantastic. Today, I ordered my coffee and was told the price was $4 and change. This is more than I've ever paid so I asked if the price had gone up. The counter person told me it was .75 for the cream in my coffee. What? She was very nice. And very apologetic. The person in line behind me said that he never tips at Hob Nobs with his credit card because the servers don't see the money. I don't know if this is true, but I can believe that any place that charges .75 for cream In Your coffee would do that too. I'm very disappointed and won't be back.
