April rent $ 1010.00 We moved in on 4/14/14 were out of house on 4/30/15 Security Deposit $ 2945.00 1 years trash $180.00 Janice Cofield and Heather King are the rudest most unprofessional realtors I have ever encountered. They speak to you in the most negative, accusatory manner. Please send them to get some customer service skills. I can't wait to post the text messages with their rude, nasty responses. Rick Cofield needs to read through his leases because the names are wrong, the dates are wrong. Stay away from these non-professionals. Rent is $1,595 per month. They made $19,200 in a year. I was never late on my rent ever. I paid $150 for carpet cleaning which they were not happy with, cleaning they were not happy with, $300.00 for professional house cleaners, $350 for landscaping/cleaning/blowing/trimming. (Not happy with) $110 to remove the rubbish from the yard. Yes are you reading this. $900 for a pet deposit (not fee) (not happy with) but I am okay with the pet deposit. ($900.00) should have covered the damage from pets with change left over) because yes little dogs have accidents and do some damage. $900 well I don't know but I really think $900 is a lot for the damage that was present. I was just shocked to see the refund they gave me back. $766.87 Does that sound right? NO it does not. Are you consumers reading this. They charged me for everything I already paid for. I spent a lot of money putting effort (good faith) into leaving the property in nice condition. Looks like they were just not satisfied with anything doesn't it. All these professionals would have reached out and fixed what they didn't like but they do not do business that way. They just ignored what I paid for to leave the house in nice condition. I have photos and 3 witnesses. Here is the thing that is making me go to court and report to the real estate board. I gave my notice via email in plenty of time (30 days notice). Instead of Janice replying with where will the key be? Which was on the counter she told me I HAD to do a walk-through. I had a death in my family and was unable to make the walk-through which she accused me of not showing because I knew the condition of the house. (lol blown away) How about I was confident in the condition of the house. She just disregarded the fact that I had a death my mother. Anyway she told me I had to send a email surrendering the property. Umm didn't I do that when I sent the original email saying I was not renewing the lease the 1 year was over. Yes, keep reading. I sent the email she asked for and asked her if that would affect my deposit. I have the text message. She said it has nothing to do with your deposit. I also found out I am NOT required to do a walk-through. The point here is I gave my notice that I would not be renewing the lease. SO WHAT IS THIS SURRENDERING OF THE PROPERTY. The key was on the counter and we were not in the home as of 5/1/15. She could have went there 5/1 and got the key. That's it! Then I get my statement of what they are refunding (not itemized)and I see it says because I didn't show up for the walk-through and surrender the property they took 4 days of rent for May. Now this is what is really upsetting me. $252.13 because if you are all reading this you clearly see Janice lied to me. It was a sneaky way to take more money from my deposit. We are not talking a $900 deposit we are talking about nearly $3,000. Please avoid this company and these realtors.. Unethical, Rude and just a shame to the community of Realtors. I need a great tenant/landlord property lawyer.
