had a blast but a few warnings:
1. I am an above average athlete and this route was not too difficult but my wife did not feel the same. She struggled on some of the bouldering climbs and even the basic ups/downs. Take this one serious with the rating. I probably underestimated. Additionally the last climb to the pool was definitely advanced.
2. be careful of storms. If you hear thunder on the other side of canyon turn back, rain has only on spot to go and that is the wash that you hike, not worth the risk.
3. saw folks hiking this route with kiddos. not sure what they did when things got more technical, but probably not the best idea unless they are athletic/adventurous and capable.
