A nice lil attraction that's located inside the Silverton Hotel & Casino, adjacent to the Bass Pro Shop.
If you have young children, this aquarium would be a great idea. Depending on the time, there are two mermaid shows per hour, or so I've read. It's really cute to see the lil ones in awe when she goes close to the glass wall to interact with them. She'll wave, blow kisses, and do a few underwater tricks. Right away I was thinking of Disney's The Little Mermaid!
My fam and I didn't even know there was a show. We just happened to be there when it started. After we had dinner at the Seasons Buffet, which is also located in the Silverton, we decided to walk to the aquarium. Five minutes later, a mermaid appeared. lol
If you happen to be visiting the Silverton Casino, why not walk pass the aquarium? It's sure to offer some serenity to your day. Plus, it's free!
