Stan's is one of those places where you can get cheap fruit and vegetables. Not sure what standards there are in reviewing the fruit before putting it on shelves, but you should check all the produce before purchasing. Overall we have had a great experience here.
They have a good selection of all sorts of fruits and vegetables as well as some fresh herbs. The place was recently 'renovated' so the cash registers are in different spots now. I find the new set-up more efficient for getting you in and out.
The only 'negative' that I can think of is some of the fruit is located outside on the sidewalk. With people passing by going to other stores, it can get quite crowded out there. I recommend going there with a nice fullback who can help push you through the crowd.
Overall I really like this place. Quality fruit and vegetables at prices that are way low compared to say Giant Eagle. Outside of growing your own garden, I do not know of a place that offers this much variety at bargain prices.
