Flashback 6 months ago: I tried all sorts of collars, vests, harnesses, leashes-nothing stopped my dog from going rouge on the leash. I hated to walk her. Plus, she was a fraidy cat. Cried when we left her even for a minute and coward around other dogs. Oh, and when I called her, you could just tell she was thinking "you talking to me?"
Now? She walks next to me in 'heel' position, sits on command, and we can leave her home for a few hours. She plays with other dogs, even the big ones! And yes she comes when called! It is great having a happy pet and a companion that enjoys going for walks and to play in the park.
D'Awna has been a great trainer, for me and my dog! We had a couple private lessons and now attend the group lessons. Although I did not sign up for the 'board and train', I see fast results during group class with those pups. The group classes vary weekly and include the basics, tricks, advanced skills, and group walks. They are a lot of fun for me and my dog!
A big thank you to Yelp for helping me find D'Awna!
