I had decent hopes for this place based on reviews that it got from booking.com of a 7.3. I knew for that rating not to expect a four star stay but hey all I needed was one nights stay. The place seemed clean when I walked in but it quickly went down hill from there. First issue was the layout of the room. We had a one bedroom suite with my kiddos taking the room with the two double beds and my wife and I taking the sofa bed. The bedroom door could not be closed because the dresser blocked the door. When I saw the scratches on the floor then I knew that previous guests had experienced the same issue. The place felt a little dirty and the furniture could use updating. It and the cabinets were all pretty dingy and beat up. My kids complained of their bedroom floor feeling grimy. The sofa bed mattress had a yellow stain on it. We covered it with a towel before putting the sheets on the bed. Also, the sheet set for the sofa bed did not have pillows. When I asked for them at the front desk, I was told that the pillows were in the wash and they had none. However, they knew that my registration was for six people. My kids had to give us a couple of pillows off of their beds. Unfortunately, it does get worse. One of the reasons that we took this place was because it offered a breakfast. I knew that it was a grab and go breakfast but this was ridiculous. The only thing they had was coffee, a few bags of instant oatmeal, and a granola bar. I will post the pic so you can see. We ended up going to Jack in the Box to get our breakfast which cost us $30. Wish that I would have taken that extra$30, added it to my budget, and stayed somewhere else.
