I've been going to Steve's on Junction for about 12+ years now (pretty much exclusively). They have a great selection of everything alcohol and if they don't have it, they can order it. Dominique is an excellent resource on wine and wine & food pairings. Because he's French, he has an excellent selection of French wine and a vast knowledge thereof; what I particularly enjoy are the white Bordeaux's and I cannot find a decent selection at any other shop. They have competitive prices for wines from smaller suppliers and the usual 10% case discount. It's a friendly warm store with people who really know what they are selling.
I have drank pretty much every kind of wine, beer, and spirits that exist. If you are looking to buy a wine for a party or a gift of anything alcoholic and you are unsure on what to get, I would recommend you go to Steve's on Junction because they are able to help the novice and expert alike.
