Ugh. I used to love this theater, but apparently the movie biz ain't drawing the margin it used to, I guess, because this place is scaling WAY back, and it's not good. First, they are pretty much automating everything. The enormous concession stand is only partially in use now, and they've installed self serve drink stations, popcorn butter stations, and automated ticket kiosks. The self serve butter and drink stations were filthy when we got there, and filthy when our movie was over.
We went to a 4:15p show on a Tuesday, which I think is a matinee, got a medium popcorn, two med drinks, raisinets, peanut m&ms, and spent $48. For fifty bucks, don't make me butter my own popcorn. I mean damn.
And hire a couple more people.
