Within the past 2 weeks I've had one cat diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and now his brother is severely ill, either with a bacterial infection or pancreatitis - what are the odds...My regular vet at the Bathurst Dupont Animal hospital has a nice veterinarian staff but the technicians there seemed indifferent to the emergency situation I was facing with the second cat's sudden illness and wouldn't even fit me in after my cat stopped eating for 3 days. I also didn't feel like they really cared too much about the animals. When I reached out to the Bloor Animal Hospital, the girl on the phone seemed genuinely concerned and took my cat in right away. On top of that they were open on Sunday for the first examination so I was able to avoid going to the emergency clinic which is a financial nightmare to go to. Today I had to take my cat back for overnight care and both vets I spoke to were knowledgable, sympathetic and compassionate. I highly recommend this place.
