I just got home from going here for a scoop of ice cream. I don't eat ice cream much because I'm lactose intolerant, but I told my body to suck it up and tried the Gold Ribbon at the recommendation of the owner. It was delicious. It was your standard ice cream, but the owner who served me was very friendly and helpful and the ice cream itself was fresh and delicious. Only thing that I found wrong with the place was the price. $3.50 for one scoop of ice cream seems a bit outrageous. And the price of the sundaes were even worse. Price aside, if you're in Cabbagetown for the day, it's a nice treat.
