I called this morning after I woke up extremely sore and stiff that I could not get out of bed. At first they wanted to make an appointment on Monday but when I expressed to them my situation they told me to come by and they will work me in.
The office was very busy with clients but Andrew at the front office was helpful getting my paperwork started and then personally walking me back to Gabby in the therapy room.
She reviewed my situation, doing some preliminary work. The office is open enough that Dr. G walked in to say hello between patients to tell me he will be with me in a moment. That's very comforting and personal, not feeling like another number in the healthcare shuffle.
Soon after, he came in carefully doing the physical evaluation as my body and neck could hardly turn. He was very wholistic in that he asked about my sleeping, eating and emotional state along with my physical condition. Being a child of a natural practitioner, I instantly recognized his approach to healthcare and felt secure that he is inline with my belief of total person care.
I had some treatments to my neck and back feeling relief in the loosening of my tight muscles. I left there more flexible and with less pressure in my body and head. The increased oxygen and blood flow to my brain relieved my headache and gave me more comfort.
Unrelated to the treatment I was instantly impressed by the lack of chemical smells most medical offices have. Instant migraines in most medical facility is a norm for me due to being chemically sensitive. I was happy to see natural cleaners being used. I will take lavender and tea tree scents over Pine Sol or Chlorine smells any day!
The staff is great as their personalities radiate true concern and their cooperating efforts made the visit smooth and successful.
