To begin this is a very cute restaurant in a strip center in Glendale. We were seated for our Saturday lunch quickly.
We ordered the mushroom sampler that comes with 4 different stuffed mushroom choices. We had the Spinach Artichoke, the meatball, shrimp & Shepherds Pie. It seemed to take awhile to get the mushrooms. I think it just takes that long to make them. My favorite was the shrimp and the husband liked the meatball as his fav. They all were good though.
So we ordered lunch. The husband a Reuben & me the gourmet grilled cheese. The grilled cheese comes with avocado, sautéed onions and 3 or 4 different kinds of cheeses & I added bacon. Again it took a long time to get our food. They weren't that busy. I think they may have been understaffed, as we were there the week before for a work lunch and the service was good and I had not noticed the slowness of food delivery then.
The husband loved his sandwich. Mine was good but a little overpowering on the cheeses for me.
I would definitely go back & have the flatbread pizza and more mushrooms!!!
