The Frequency is a great little venue to see interesting bands. The sound is incredibly good--way to go sound guy! The layout with small stage and room slightly separated from the bar area is great for smaller shows. The bartenders were friendly and attentive and the crowd was relaxed and appreciative of the music (way to go non-apathetic music lovers!).
