Thanks for the food poisoning Soho! ..If you enjoy diarrhea and puke GO HERE! ... and that's just the start... My friends and I (group of 13) went there for a birthday dinner and 5 of us ended up sick the next day. Throwing up all night and having to miss work the next day. Best part is we ordered different dishes... Yes I know large groups are harder to serve but other restaurants manage to do it just fine, so why not Soho? To clarify, my group of friends and I are very nice individuals, that do not make large scenes, or loud obnoxious conversations that are sometimes associated with large groups of people getting together. We started the evening with a super grouchy waitress who really didn't like answering questions about the serving sizes of TWO MEALS! Yes, I asked how big the salad and gyoza was. She gave me an attitude, "Just order it you will be find out." and left without taking our orders. Upon return she went around the table asking if we were ready, if we were not, she didn't say anything and just rudely turned to another person or different table entirely. This was sure fire way to a zero tip fast but with large groups we're forced to pay tip obviously, even if it was undeserved. Throughout the dinner she would avoid our area and wait on other tables. We had to ask another waitress for water refills who was actually nice, sorry dear, you have a horrible co-worker to bring this atmosphere down. Back to the original waitress, she acted as if we were disrupting her time to flirt with the sushi chefs at the bar. I could see her from my seat going from the cash register to the bar laughing and giggling then upon turning out to the restaurant she immediately made a disgusted face. Enough ranting about the overweight rude waitress. Now to the food. Yes presentation was GREAT!! If there was a section on just presentation you guys got 4.5 out of 5. BUT TASTE.... OMG HORRIBLE. And I mean truly horrible. The only thing that tasted "OK" was my cut up tomatoes, and the sauce poured under the sushi. The Angus Gyoza which said Angus was actually sour tasting and could've been lamb maybe? It had a distinct lamb flavor to it and I'm pretty sure the cows didn't eat any lamb before being slaughtered. I could be wrong though... But i'm pretty confident here. Either way, one piece then the rest sat there waiting to be eaten by flies. The fish was very bland and broke apart easily before being transported from the plate to my mouth by my skilled chopstick skills. I had one piece and left the rest to be thrown away. I shouldn't smell a fish when i eat sushi, sorry that's just the #1 rule of good vs bad sushi. Overall, i'm sitting here with diarrhea and puked twice this morning. Texting my friends who have the same issues. Five different dishes gave us this and using simple math because I personally didn't share any of my disgusting food can narrow this down to at least two different dishes that night caused our issues today. Avoiding this place from now on LIKE THE PLAGUE!
