I saw this show months ago...My review is far overdue. I was prompted to write one, due to the untimely death of Prince. The show was very entertaining. Jason, was a pretty good Prince impersonator. His frame is quite a bit larger than Prince's so he wasn't a perfect match, but effective because he had the ability to bring his own personal style and talent onto the stage so it didn't really cause a great deal of distraction. I think it's always a challenge to imitate greats like Michael Jackson and Prince, just for a few examples. They are tough acts to follow. However, for Vegas standards, this particular show hit the mark. A nice selection of Prince's most popular hits were played. I shouted out a special request, "Always in my hair" and surprisingly enough, it was played and played well, I might add. I thought Jason and the band did a great job. I thought it was cool for them to play a song that wasn't as mainstream as "Purple Rain" or When Doves cry, in which both songs were played as well. I've read some of the other reviews; my experience didn't mesh with the negative cmoments that I have read. I just received a good show with Prince's popular tunes by a team of good musicians. While the show wasn't mind blowing to me, but it was full of good energy and pizazz. It's definitely a fun show to see while you're in Vegas. If you're expecting Prince's exact, raw talent, you'll be disappointed but if you have a reasonable expectation minus some of the negatives that were spoken about in these reviews, then you'll be glad that you came to the show and will appreciate the performance.
