Lived here for a few years and live right down the street from this place, always wondered about it but never had the chance to go. Got invited to a yelp event here and figured I would love to check the place out!
Everybody was so nice, the staff, security guards, everyone. There were amazing food trucks and drinks for everyone and they let us "wander" around to see the different enclosures. They have 39 lions and 1 giraffe on site and it's just amazing to see these beautiful amazing up close. You never realize how big they are until they are right in front of you.
They had staff that volunteers there and you can tell they love what they do everyone was having a great time. The president of the ranch who also lives on the ranch as well was there and he was inside one of the enclosures with 3 of the females and it was so cool to watch they loved playing with him and it was so so cool!
I got to feed the giraffe and I just about lost it (they are my favorite animals) so happy and so fun. I can't wait to come back again!
