I've been putting my trash out now for over than a year, and if the lid was up slightly because of an odd shaped throw away, they'd pick it up. Today for maybe the fourth or fifth time, the lid was up slightly because of front porch rugs that I couldn't bend. They are enforcing an old rule that if the lid is not completely down, they won't pick it up. No warning, no note saying as much, they left mine and I see a half dozen others now that they refused to pick up. This is aside from the fact that the guy drags my recycle can to the next door neighbors house, or that their web page and payment programs belong in the dot matrix era. You'd think you'd get the service you pay for, and a courtesy note if they don't like the way the can looks. Nah, just lazy asses looking for any excuse to play games with "The Man" who owns a house. Unfortunately, I've seen this lousy attitude towards service A LOT here in Las Vegas. Land of the people who think taxpayers owe them a living. Republic sucks, period.
