I had taken our Yorki Poo to this groomer twice before our last visit which will be our last. The last two visits were great but I was put off by a couple of things on our last visit.
First, when we arrived to pick up our puppy the staff was unable to find him and had to look around a bit. They finally found him in the bathroom with the door closed on him and the lights off which I found to be unprofessional. A kennel is fine but not basically locked in a dark bathroom.
Secondly, after we left our puppy was not his normal self. He was very un-energetic and out of it. The next morning he began having diarrhea that lasted almost a week and also some vomiting. The vet could not pinpoint exactly what it was but after 10 days of antibiotics he is back to his normal self.
I do not know exactly what happened but the fact that he was locked in a bathroom, and became very ill immediately after visiting this groomer has made me never want to bring him back.
