What to do when you are hungry and your are walking on a street full of restaurants?! Yelp it!!!!! Finally found this English pub with a good review and decided to stop by and try.
Pretty noisy for me (yeah, I know... I'm old), but they have a nice patio inside.
Such a nice ambience. They even have a booth for groups!
Cocktails are around 12$ each and my choice was a mojito style Pimms (an English liquor). MUST TRY. It comes with cucumber and mint. Delicious.
To start, Bully Beef Toast ($13)
Corned beef on pain brioche, aged cheddar, sweet pepper mix. Oh boy!!! Awesome! The sweet pepper mix comes with sweet onion... The beef is just amazing.
My main course was an Angus Burger (16$) AAA Angus burger, cheddar cheese and house chips. What can go wrong with an AAA Angus?! The fries were delicious. I've just missed the mayo maison.
My partner's main course was the Cambridgeshire Salad (17$) Grilled chicken salad, Stilton, pears, walnuts. I can say it was hard for him to choose the salad, due to the all succulent options on the menu. But he is a super healthy man! ;)
Overall... I'll be back, for sure!
