I bought my wedding dress from Ritche Bridal.
I appreciate that I was able to view their inventory online and send a wish list. When I arrived for my shopping appointment they had pulled everything from the list as well as some similar styles they thought I'd like. They also asked me my budget and kept the dresses within my price range.
You should know, Ritche is not really the store for "shopping on a budget" but mine was pretty generous. Anyway, I appreciate they did not try to woo me with $5000 dresses.
My sales associate Michelle was very nice and seems to genuinely enjoy helping soon-to-be brides. My only complaint was that she nearly sold me a dress that wouldn't have covered my bust enough. I had to come back the day after I ordered it to meet with the head of alterations and ended up ordering a larger size.
The alterations seemed pricey at first, especially because we had to pay for them upfront. But after 6 fittings I can tell you they are quite reasonable.
The alterations department led by Susan, worked tirelessly turning a size 8 into a 2. Then they gave the dress a complete makeover by adding boning because the fabrics insisted on bunching in the back.
The reason this review is a 4 not a 5 is because the dress I bought was made of 4 fabrics that don't seem to work well together. As is said, I had 6 fittings and the dress still had some bunching in the back. It would have been nice if the sales associates were privy to this issue, as I would not have bought the dress had I known how much trouble it would be. I am so grateful the alterations department spent so much time trying to fix it.
In the end I looked stunning on my wedding day, and not one person notice the bunching. I would definitely recommend Ritche Bridal.
