The AC in our rental unit went out a couple weeks back. We were out of town so our tenants contacted a couple companies. Acosta was able to come out the same day so we went with them. In the end, our bill was $548.00! I called around town to check pricing, here are my results: They charged a $99 fee to come out (not out of line). The capacitor was bad and needed to be replaced - $289 (very high, was quoted as low as $160 elsewhere), and the refrigerant was low - 1lb @ $154 (higher than others by about 10-15%). In all the service work was done and the AC unit is working correctly. Where as they did quality work, I know we could have had the same service done for a lot less. I am not saying not to use this company, but you may want to keep in mind that their pricing is on the higher end compared to the other companies in town.
