So our neighborhood cat showed up and he looked really sick. We tried to take him to our local vet, but, they said that they needed an upfront deposit and that they didn't know how much it would be. When my wife said that I would be there shortly with our bank card they told her that she should just call animal control and they would take care of him. Needless to say she was upset. I was referred to Craig Road Animal Hospital by a friend from work and I couldn't be happier. It was a bit of a drive for me but it was worth it. I explained the situation and that I didn't know the cat's name and they said it would be no problem and that an examination would be $46 minus $21 for the referral. Long story short the cat got an antibiotic shot and we were both treated very well. At one point when I waited with Kitty in the truck we were served bottled water while we relaxed. I struggle to comprehend why my now ex-vet (who I have recently given a review as well) couldn't just look at the animal and give him a shot.
