I have a 2006 Ford Escape that I plan to use for work, new job is farther so I don't want to use the family vehicle. The Escape wasn't cared for like it should be, so I wanted to get it checked out to prevent being stranded on the road. Originally made an appointment with the larger chain auto service place, but I was told my a good friend to bring my car here. Said they're honest, affordable, and tells you exactly what needs fixing.
I showed up and the lot was full of cars, so I was wondering if they'll have time to work on my car. I went in anyways, and was greeted by a very nice man. I told him that I wanted to get my Escape checked out, it wasn't really cared for in the past. He went outside, started the car a few times, looked in the hood, checked out levels of fluids. He immediately told me I'll need an oil change, transmission fluid is fine. I asked if he can check other things out and he said OK, took my car into the lot. After a short wait, he came back and said "Oil change, timing belt, and filters" everything else is in good condition, keep in mind it's a 10 year-old car with 142K miles on it! He gave me a price and it was amazingly affordable. He honestly told me they're booked up so it'll be about 2 hours, and I agreed.
Came time to pick up the car, everything needed was done, price was exactly what he said. As I was driving out, the steering wheel felt easier to control, I think he actually put some in without charging me! This place is great and I'll be bringing all my vehicles here from now on!
